How do I personalize my emails?

To personalize your email you can add a greeting addressed to your subscriber by following these steps.

  1. While editing your email in the Email Wizard, go to the block where you want to add the greeting.
  2. Click the Edit icon.
  3. Place your cursor where you wish to place the greeting and click.
  4. Type your salutation then go to the “Insert Variable” pull-down menu located in the edit toolbar.
  5. Select the variable you wish to insert from the “Insert Variable” pull-down. For example (Contact First Name) and add a friendly personal statement.
  6. Click “SAVE”.
  7. The variable will appear in brackets in your email. When you send your email out the greeting will display the subscriber’s name.
